Biotin is involved in the biosynthesis of fatty acids, energy production, metabolism of branched-chain amino acids, and gene expression. A deficiency of this B vitamin interferes with carbohydrate metabolism. There are also preliminary studies that suggest the use of biotin to improve glucose metabolism.
Other ingredients:Â Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, cellulose, silicon dioxide, L-leucine.
